Career Athletes Welcomes 22 New University Athletic Department Partners!
Olathe, KS (July 1, 2009) - Career Athletes is proud to announce recently signed multi-year partnerships with 22 new universities. The partnerships provide a unique career development resource for current and alumni athletes from these and other participating university athletic departments, further extending Career Athletes national reach as the leading career education and resource provider for collegiate athletic departments and their student-athletes.

Career Athletes begins its program at the campus level conducting career development and training seminars and one-on-one career coaching sessions for current student-athletes. These seminars focus on urging athletes to take a forward looking approach to career options, and educates athletes on their unique skill set and how best to present this skill set during the career search process. To date, Career Athletes has conducted over 800 training and development seminars at colleges and universities throughout the country, educating more than 250,000 student-athletes. In addition to their proprietary training and development seminars, Career Athletes builds and maintains customized career networking web sites for individual university athletic departments providing additional career education, mentors, access to career opportunities and potential employers upon graduation, and a platform to connect with athletic alumni who are encouraged to join the network as mentors and/or job seekers.
